We’ve had a ton of press from our June release of our new UX and social integration. I need to do a consolidated post with all the articles but in the meantime, this is a nice write up from Mashable on our latest work.
I’ve always loved the idea of matching these two things which are always in over supply and bringing them together. Those two things are:
- the unemployed in need of work
- unwanted dogs in need of care
Prison programs with dogs are a really successful example of where it’s made a huge difference to bring people and animals together. I haven’t looked into the specifics of this idea (is it enough money, how does the selection work), but I love the experiment and concept. I hope it yields positive results to cause more interest in this area.
I have tremendous respect for Seattle based Chris Jordan and in particular, his work on Midway… You may have already seen his images of dying / dead albatrosses, and he’s now turning the series into a documentary.I am certain it’s going to make for very powerful viewing. Tonight I just noticed they have a kickstarter project where you can contribute to the funding of the filming. Click the title above to follow the link.
