Southend on Sea

26 December 2007 One Comment

Clearly the finest stretch of beach front in the world. Spent a cold hour walking along here on the 24th Dec – for what I’m not exactly sure – perhaps just to show my brave companions how every Christmas eve should be spent. Southend, the town where I went to school, is famous for penny arcades, Essex girls and the longest pier in the world.

I'm very drawn to 1, 5 and 9, of course.. that bluish tone makes me think of lomo/polaroid/funky shtuff. Is it the longest pier or does it just SEEM that way on a cold winter's day? ;)
Did you walk out to the end of it or is that dangerous? If I give you 2 more pound will you go back and do it? lol

Lovely collection of your trip thusfar.
