Thanksgiving Road Trip – Day 4
Day 4 consisted of waking up early in the morning in Susanville, and simply heading back. Despite being having driven more than 12 hours the previous day, we still had a 9+ hour journey ahead of us and as with much of our short break, we didn’t have too much time for stopping and photography. On the way back we did want to choose one place to stop however and that ended up being a little park in Lassen National forest. After a short break there, and a few photos, it was back to Seattle. These are the last shots from the trip – thanks for hanging int here.

Nothing very exciting in this shot but just about worth including. Olympus OM-4, Olympus Zuiko 21mm f/2, Kodak Ektar 100

I screwed this shot up – was a beautiful scene / light but didn’t quite focus right. Still, I like it and am including it anyway. Olympus OM-1 + Olympus OM Zuiko 21mm, Fujifilm Neopan 100 Acros

Beautiful pictures. Very interesting Blog. Hope it will always be alive!
Stunning shots share some more please. I have just purchased an OM1 for £52 on eBay. I have only shot 3 roles on a portraiture shoot and, just sent them off. Looking forward to receiving the prints back. Check out my blog as ill post my results in a few days. http://www.rorylewis.co.uk/?p=4195
cheers
Rory
Thanks for stopping by Rory. The OM1 is a classic – one of the best all manual 35mm cameras made. The OM4 is even better btw. Fastest max shutter speed, fantastic in built meter which allows you to shoot in aperture mode and is in all black. I got a new focusing screen which gives a brighter viewfinder view too. Will check your blog soon – look forward to seeing the updates.
