I was in the UK a couple of weeks ago, stopping by our Bing office on the way back from China. Aside from meeting the awesome folks in our Victoria office, I also got to see my parents, a few friends and a bit of the city again. It was the weekend before the jubilee and during the Olympic year, and in all my years living there, I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many Union Jacks Flags on display. As usual the city was alive with buzz - very nostalgic to be back on home turf, even if only for a few days. I took a camera around with me on a Sat and Sun which was fun as I only picked up photography after I left the UK. It also reminded me how hard it can be to shoot such a photographed city in interesting or new ways. Anyway, here are a few snaps which I’ll keep for posterity.
