THOUGHTS ON TECH, PHOTOGRAPHY AND MINDFULNESS

At 7am on Saturday morning, I met with a few participants from Pathwise (a leadership course I attend) to lead a short “photo walk” around Seattle’s arboretum. The idea was to just get together informally, for me to do a bit of instruction but mostly just share in the being present during a shared activity. I’ve recently become aware that one of the best ways to become truly present is to perform an activity which uses the senses (i.e. flow). Photography has been the primary example in my life. I really enjoyed the morning and folks seemed to have a great time too. Here are a few pictures I took.
